Let’s play with food! Join Kendra Aronson—food photographer, food stylist, and author of The San Luis Obispo Farmers’ Market Cookbook—in this fun, hands-on food photography and food styling workshop. Her 2-hour workshop will cover the basics of food photography from styling techniques to prop sourcing, pre-shoot prep to post-production, DSLR camera settings to iPhone camera apps.
This workshop is comprised of a 55-minute powerpoint lecture, a 15-minute food styling demonstration, a 35-minute hands-on food styling and shooting experience (put your new skills to the test!), and a 15-minute Q&A session. We will be styling and shooting yogurt parfaits with delicious, locally made Grrrnola granola and fresh fruit from the farmers’ market.
Each participant will receive a worksheet filled with resources and room to take notes. This class is open to all levels.
Included in your ticket:
worksheet filled with resources and room to take notes
5 oz Grrrnola per student, plus yogurt and fresh fruit
1 glass of wine from The Station
Please bring your own:
bowls, glassware, spoons, linens, backdrops, etc. for your hands-on styling and shooting practice
