Join us for a Tiny Terra Cotta Painting Workshop with Sarah Alimashrab! The $45 fee will include all materials needed to paint, a tiny terra-cotta pot, 2 hours of instruction for a custom miniature painting on the pot, as well as you’re own baby plant to live in your new masterpiece and your first beverage! This is a beginner level workshop.
Sarah has lived in various places over her life that have inspired the content of her art work. Sarah loves many types of crafting, but holds a special place in her heart for miniature painting. She feels miniatures hold a sense of magic and whimsy. That is why Sarah created Ashra Artistry, a miniature painting brand that is brought into the world in a practical way. Miniatures are painted right onto wooden pendants so that the wearer becomes the gallery, and onlookers can get lost in the paintings on a daily basis. Pieces are sold at artisan stores around the U.S., online, & at craft fairs. Recently Sarah has started miniaturist workshops, and is so jazzed about guiding others through this unique art form.
