Drawing isn’t the only way you can capture the figure! Watercolor and ink is a fun way to let loose and create a great piece of art. During this workshop Jose Lemus will guide you through two hours of painting from a live model while you sip on some delicious wine from our shop! This is for beginners and advanced students. The $45 fee includes a model for 2-hours, watercolor paper, watercolors and ink to use during the workshop, and your first glass of wine.
Jose Lemus’ artist work is primarily focused in life figure drawing, teaching various forms of art, developing innovative design products, production of documentary films and outreach work within diverse communities. Born in Mexico City, grew up in Southern California, served in the military during Vietnam War then attended California State Polytechnic University where he received his degree in Architecture. Jose is currently working on documentary films, art related furniture design and facilitates Wednesday Night Life drawing at the San Luis Obispo Museum of Art.
The Station is San Luis Obispo’s oldest gas station re-imagined into a mixed use space for work, events, and a curated wine & goods shop. Wine, beer and non-alcoholic beverages available throughout the two hour workshop. Guests must be 21 and over to attend this session.
Due to limited seating and high demand of workshop tickets, we have a 48 hour cancellation policy to receive a refund or to reschedule. We have a workshop minimum of at least 10 people. If we need to cancel the workshop we will notify the guests at least 3 hours in advance. Either a refund can be issued or credit can be kept on file to be used at a future workshop. Thank you for understanding!
***There are only 6 spaces available for Groupons for each workshop. Once those are filled, guests can be put on a cancellation list or the Groupon value can be put towards a full priced registration and pay the remaining balance.***
