Intro to Wood Burning (Pyrography)
In this class we will exploring basic wood burning techniques. You will learn about the tool and materials needed and be able to practice different textures with different tips. We will be using a small hand held burner, laying stencils on small wood rounds and burning. After we burn I will do a quick tutorial on how to add color to your burns using watercolor pigments. If we have enough time you’ll be able to try these too! The $50 fee will include a hand held burner, all other materials, 2 hour instruction, and your first drink!
Jeana Jane has been in the arts for most of her life. Working as a full time tattoo artist for the past 7 years she has been able to try many different styles of art. Wood burning became a side project a few years ago. It’s a relaxing and enjoyable process.
